PRESENTATIONS
DIPLOMATS ON TAP
Wednesday, April 24th, 2013 at the Emerson Cultural Center (Weaver Room) in Bozeman [7-8:30pm]
Do you enjoy beer? How about beer and friends? WorldMontanaSM will host its first ever Diplomats on Tap that will satisfy both your taste buds and sense of community. This event will be an opportunity to allow Bozemanites to expand their knowledge of international issues. Quarterly, we hope to gather internationally-minded individuals to take part in a discussion about global issues, many of which affect us in some way.WorldMontana’s first Diplomats on Tap will coincide with our annual membership meeting. Here, we will update our members on the impact of our non-profit’s work in the community. Later, we will listen to a presentation and participate in a discussion with beer in hand. This Diplomats on Tap will include hors d’oeuvres prepared by Food for Thought. For those who are not so inclined to beer, we will also serve wine. Join us at the Weaver Room in the Emerson on Wednesday, April 24th at 7:00 p.m. for an enjoyable evening.

OPEN WORLD – RUSSIA PRESENTATIONS
Date: TBA
In May 2013, WorldMontana will host five Russian delegates on the Open World program, sponsored by the Library of Congress. During each program, the delegates participate in a public presentation. They generally present information on their home countries and local culture. We welcome anyone from the public to attend. This great opportunity is an exercise of “citizen diplomacy.” Be sure to visit this in May when the date and location will be published.
